This is an informative little book that begins with the pitfalls of taking random pictures off Google and posting them on your blog (always make sure they’re licensed for commercial reuse), but it goes much further than that. Ms. Schrandt covers an array of image-related enhancements to blogging.
Collecting your own photos, image resizing, watermarks, captions, buttons, and banners are all covered as well, along with practical tips on how to use these things to help your blog. Terri also highly recommends combining images with quotes. She touches on the importance of promoting on social media (and using images there, too), and joining some of the many popular photo challenges in the blogosphere.
